DCI’s Resource on Reproducible Research

Note that this is the development version of this website and although available to the public this is not the actual production version

The goal of this project is to develop a set of free open source software templates to facilitate and promote adherence to the principles of reproducible analysis and literate programming. The web portion of the project will be a resource for training workshops that will teach and promote adherence to reproducible and literate analysis using the tools and facilities developed by the project. Finally, the web presence will allow easy to access to the materials and advertise to the cancer research community the commitment of the Duke Cancer Institute to the principle of reproducible and literate analysis.

Here we provide a number resources to learn about and carry out reproducible research from the quantative perspective. The goal is that any analysis from raw data to conclusion should be be reproducible by scientists even if they lack the specific quantative skills or domain expertise. This means that the integral components of data sharing, establishing an audit trail, and literate programming must always be present.
