Instructions for Midterm Exam II
This exam focuses on topics covered since the previous midterm. These topics include:
You should know how to form confidence intervals and test statistics given relevant information, and you should be able to interpret p-values and confidence intervals. You should know the differences between chi-squared tests and other significance tests discussed in class.
Logistics
Answer all questions clearly and concisely; follow all instructions.
You are allowed to use one 8.5 by 11 notesheet containing whatever you want; both sides of the sheet may be used. You are not permitted to use any other material for the exams, except those provided by the instructor (e.g., the table of normal probabilities from our text).
Bring a calculator and pencils or pens to the exam.
