Recent Developments in Bayesian Inference with Application in Hydrology

James O. Berger and David Rios Insua

This paper describes some fairly new tools for Bayesian inference that are of considerable potential use in hydrology. These tools include Bayesian model selection, new computational techniques, and Bayesian approaches to time series and dynamic linear models. We also illustrate how these tools can be applied to problems in hydrology. Postscript File (581kB) Postscript File (figures: 382kB)
