Dr. Edwin Iversen is Research
Professor of Statistical Science, member of the graduate faculty and
faculty member in the Computational Biology and Bioinformatics
Program. Dr. Iversen's research is focused on Bayesian statistical
analysis as applied to problems in genetic epidemiology, cancer
research and molecular genetics and is inspired by numerous
collaborative grant awards related primarily to breast and ovarian
cancer genetics and genomics. Research interests include gene
characterization, methods for analysis of high dimensional genomic
data types and methods for genome-wide and pathway-wide disease
association studies.
