Postdoctoral Research in Computational Structural Biology


Duke University has an opening for a postdoctoral research associate in computational structural biology. The successful candidate will have a PhD in computer science, computational biology, statistics or other relevant mathematical science; experience applying his or her strong computational/mathematical skills to problems in structural or molecular biology, biophysics, or protein biochemistry; and enthusiasm for working within a world-class multi-institutional consortium toward an understanding of antibody-mediated neutralization of HIV and the discovery of novel vaccination strategies. He or she will work with Professors Scott Schmidler (Statistical Sciences) and Tom Kepler (Biostatistics & Bioinformatics, Immunology) and the Gates Foundation Vaccine Discovery Antibody Consortium (VDAC).
