Assignment 1

Using R, work problems 4-6 in Chapter 1 of M&B. Create postscript (or another format) plots with appropriate labels, titles, legends etc.

Using LaTeX (required for Duke Statistics students) or another word processing , create a one page figure for your plots. Include a caption with enough detail to explain the problem, and include in the caption a sentence with the estimate of the area of Manitoba covered by water.
