The section of this course that deals with probability is difficult for some students and easy for others. The problems below are suggested to help you review the material and to help you test yourself. If you find while working these problems that you need further practice, I would suggest trying some of the odd-numbered problems (answers to odd exercises are in the back of the book) or asking the TAs or myself questions in office hours.
