General information
This course introduces students to the basic concepts of probability
and statistical inference. In particular, we focus on ideas and
skills needed for further study in economics and quantitative social
sciences. You should be familiar with calculus of at least the
level presented in MTH31. The MTH31 syllabus is also a useful tool for finding reference texts for various topics.
