Homework
Late homework is strongly discouraged. If you must turn it in late, you will be penalized 10% a day.
You may work with other students on the homework problems or refer to other sources if you like. The writeup (computations, Splus output, graphs), however, must be your own.
Please note that written interpretations and conclusions are at least as important as generation of data summaries, statistics, tests, etc. Clear, careful writing and interpretation of results is an important part of the homework, midterms, project and final exam.
Unless specifically requested, never submit raw computer output pages. Instead use a text editor to cut and paste parts of the output file into your writeup. Output, plots, variables, etc. should be labeled appropriately.
