STA 198L: Intro to Health Data Science

STA 198L is a rigorous ten-week online introduction to health data science motivated by current applications in biomedicine, epidemiology, and public health policy. Students will use RStudio and GitHub to conduct and share reproducible data exploration, visualization, and analysis. Learning objects include understanding statistical methods and their suitability in various contexts, interpreting and translating results to interdisciplinary researchers, and critically evaluating data-based claims, decisions, and policies.
