STA110A: Grading Policy 






Grades will be determined using a point system.  The maximum number of points will be 500, with the breakdown as follows:


















The following grade ranges are not set in stone.  For example, if no one
in the class obtains anything higher than a 450, I'll adjust the
scaling down a little.  Whatever happens, though, I will not make the
scale more strict.  (In other words, I won't make an "A" harder to
obtain than it presently is using this scale.)
