Bayesian Analysis: A Look at Today and Thoughts of Tomorrow
James Berger
First, a snapshot is provided of the current state of Bayesian statistics.
Included are entry points to the Bayesian literatures in various
disciplines and various areas of statistics. Next, the status of the various
approaches to Bayesian analysis are discussed; these approaches are
termed the objective, subjective, robust, frequentist-Bayes, and
pseudo-Bayes approaches. Speculations
about the future are sprinkled throughout this latter material.
Finally, comments about computation and existing and future software
are given.
