STA110B: Final exam info

• Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 NOON
• Date: Monday, 01MAY2000
• Place: Social Sciences 136 (same as lecture)

The final exam will be cumulative, although it will put slightly more emphasis the skills and concepts we have learned since the midterm. Some suggestions for how to review the material:

• Go through your lecture notes, with special attention to the examples we did in class
• Review the homework problems
• Rework your quizzes and the midterm exam
• Work through previous exams: Spring 1998, Fall 1997 (don't need to do question 2, parts f-k)

There will be a review session on Sunday evening, 30APR2000, at 7:30PM in 116 Old Chemistry Building. Please come prepared.

Things you will need:

1. pencils and eraser
2. calculator (you might want to check your batteries before the final)
3. your "cheat sheet", which can include any notes/formulas you want and can fill both sides of an 8.5" x 11" paper

Things you won't need:

1. Your textbook (this is a closed-book exam)
2. Reference tables (e.g. normal, t, F) will be provided to you with your exam
