Professor: Dr. Victoria Ellison I'm a Postdoctoral Associate in Teaching. I received my PhD in Operations Research from North Carolina State University in 2017. I have taught college courses in Statistics, Deterministic Modeling, Calculus, and Pre-Calculus. While pursuing my graduate degree I also worked in industry for six years as a data scientist, applying statistical and mathematical algorithms to applications in online advertisting, TV advertising, and narcotics detection. I'm currently conducting pedagogical research, focusing on introductory data science courses teaching methods. I also like hiking, snowboarding, and yoga. |

Head TA + 11:45 Lab TA: Joe Mathews I am a first year PhD student in the statistical science department. I completed my undergraduate degree in mathematics at Austin Peay State University in Tennessee. My past research concerns generalized linear models for inflated count data. Some of my favorite things include coffee, dogs, and playing music. |

Lecture + 4:40 Lab TA: Irene Ji I'm a first year PhD student in statistics department. I completed my undergraduate degree in National University of Singapore and worked in a reinsurance company as an actuarial assistant before coming to Duke. My previous research experience was in Astrostatistics and MCMC. Outside of class, I enjoy watching TV, movies and travelling with friends and family. |

Lecture TA: Molly Carson I am a freshman potentially majoring in neuroscience and minoring in Spanish. I'm hoping to pursue a career in pediatric psychiatry. I enjoy playing club lacrosse, working out, and going to the beach. |

On campus, I am involved in Duke Puppy Kindergarten, Sexual Assault Prevention Team, and serve on the executive board for my sorority. Outside of school, I enjoy baking, running, and watching Friends! |

3:05 Co-Lab TA: Rose Graves I'm a senior majoring in Statistical Science with minors in Math and French. My research focuses on political polarization and moral artificial intelligence. I previously worked for l'Institut National des Etudes Territorial in France, and I am currently the lab manager for the Moral Attitudes and Decision-Making lab (MADLab).Outside of school my other interests are running, Disney, yoga, figure skating, and knitting. |
